Storytelling

Maybe your service or product isn’t something brand new but your story behind it can be the unique thing you’re offering. Think about your values, why you created the brand and what makes you stand out among competitors and let this be an important part of your communication. Storytelling can give your brand a more clear personality while also strengthening emotional ties to the consumer.

Highlight the people behind the brand

Another unique aspect of your brand is the team behind it, and you might benefit from thinking about the possibilities of personal PR. This can allow you to communicate your values and vision for the brand, rather than mainly focusing on just the product or service. When highlighting the founders of your brand you can build a more personal bond to consumers, something that might be tricky for large corporations.

Reactive PR – act quick!

When large media buys are out of the question your overall communication will be required to stand out and make an impression – and here is where reactive PR can come in handy. To determine which trends or happenings your brand can be a part of you need to have specified your brand values and within what kind of topics or debates you will be willing to take a stand. Avoid subjects that are too far from your brand purpose or something that you never discuss.

Form an ambassador tribe

Having a committed tribe of ambassadors can help further communicate your brand values as well as create a more personal bond to consumers. Start collaborating with people who believe in what you do and can easily be connected to your brand. Think ”fewer but bigger” where you work with a few clear ambassadors rather a large group that aren’t fully committed to your brand or cause.
